Tuesdays of Texture | Week 45 of 2015

Every Tuesday I post an image of a texture or the use of a texture and invite you to join in the fun of sharing a detail of your part of the world by linking your own post to this one.  Or @naramilee on twitter or instagram.

You don’t have to make an exclusive Tuesdays of Texture post and you can find an image during the week and join any day you want.  I share contributions on twitter and mention each one the next week.   Hope to see your part of the world!

Water meter.

This is the top of the water meter box in manfriend’s house.  Or his mom’s house.  Or wherever it is that I have to live right now.

Did you hear an urgh sound?  Yes, it was me.  Sorry if you are eating, but every time I want to internalise the fact that I have to live on someone else’s home and that someone is manfriend’s mom I want to puke a little.

Anyway, I’m always amazed that those things kind of last forever.  I’ve walked over some in the metro area that are a few decades old and it’s amazing.   The fact that they exist and the fact that we are still using the same reading method that has always existed, pretty much.

Last week we had a few cool participations.   Go check them out:

ladyleemanila shared images with a poem called Trees by my Window.  Loved.

Maggie shared images from a farm trip on Northern Virginia and the colors are divine.

Una Vista di San Ferno shared an image of a modern metal thinga maggingy.  Pretty cool.

klara shared an autum view that will leave you wanting winter to never come.

Jesh shared a few images with the theme Childhood Memories of Holland.  That’s enough to want to click right?  But, I’m also going to casually mention there’s a train. *insert exited here*

First timer confetti thrown at Black Body who sneaked in the submission just yesterday!

Have a great adventure today.  And share a bit of it with me, will you?
