Tuesdays of Texture | Week 40 of 2015

Every Tuesday I post an image of a texture or the use of a texture and invite you to join in the fun of sharing a detail of your part of the world by linking your image post to this post.

You can also @ naramilee in twitter or instagram if you want to share an image from either platform.

You don’t have to make an exclusive Tuesdays of Texture post, you can find an image during the week and join any day you want and this event is ‘theme free’.

I share contributions on twitter and mention each one the next week.   Hope to see your part of the world!

Happiness is a butterfly, which when pursued, is always just beyond your grasp, but which, if you will sit down quietly, may alight upon you.
Nathaniel Hawthorne

Butterflies!  That stood still long enough for me to capture!

Check out other images shared last week:

ladyleemanila has an interesting collection of photos:  elements!  Actual element rocks. I was all nerd over them 🙂

Una Vista di San Ferno shared the trunk of a palm tree.  One of my favorite subjects for texture!

Let’s wave hi and go share your love with Maggie from Extracts from a Life Unfolding, who shared what I believe is the first contribution featuring a child as a main subject.  And he’s so cute!

You go have a beautiful Tuesday.  And share a bit with me with me if you can, it would soothe me a lot 🙂

Beautiful butterflies!! And how exciting that they kept still for you! I love when that happens…especially when I can manage to stay calm enough in my excitement to get the shot. (A challenge for me in those moments! 🙂 ) I especially like the black&white one, with just that little bit of red on his wings. Really nice shots!

I like comments as much as I like naps. And I LOVE naps.
