    Oh my gosh, it’s the flowers name I was hearing, not where they were found. I’ve grown up with these flowers, found around the sand dunes in Australia and they have always been called the yellow sand dune flowers. I hadn’t appreciated it was DUENDES, not dunes! 🙂

      Well, I actually have no idea what’s the correct it scientific name and I’m going to ask a flower blogger I read, but Duende is the common name my grandmother taught me and that’s what I call them.
      I’m pretty sure they are wild weed but I have always love them and look forward to having them in my balcony one day 🙂
      Thanks for letting me know they grow in AUSTRALIA, that’s far from here! Which means these babies are very adaptable.
