Tuesdays of Texture | Week 9 of 2015

Every Tuesday I post a photo of a texture or the use of a texture and share a detail of my part of the world.

I invite you to join in the fun of sharing an image of the textures around you by including a link to this post in your own post (you don’t have to make an exclusive Tuesdays of Texture post!).  You can also @ naramilee in twitter or instagram if you want to share an image from either platform.

You can find an image you like during the week if you don’t have one today 🙂

A few weeks ago while road tripping we passed this house.  It had been featured on a local tv show for it’s peculiarity.  Can you spot it?

Seashell house.

Maybe here.

detail of texture

It’s covered in seashells!  I thought it was really cool, specially because the house is very close to the shore, but it’s also a little crazy.  The owner had a lot of time of his hands 🙂

That has to be, to date, the most peculiar textured object I have found.  All the contributions have, of course, far exceeded my own finds 😀

Speaking about contributions, I whole heartedly thank you for sharing your images in this project.  This week was much fun, check out these very cool finds:

Norm is giving you a free three minute course on curling just for looking at his image, which I think is a great deal.

Lessy on the other hand is taking us to bouldering, which requires a no-fear policy towards heights.  I love all the sports in the this week’s contributions!

De Tout Coeur Limousin shared a collection of images of which I think I like the second one most, but it’s VERY hard not to go with the puppy because CUTE PUPPY.

Peacecrafting shared a small collection of photos where she left the best for last showing a silver tone tree bark that I found lovely.

scrapydotwo shared a coffee related post with a few awesome macros that contain coffee in various stages.  I’ll probably loose more than half of the reader at this point when everyone craves coffee thanks to this contribution.  That’s okay, you can totally go get your fix, I understand.

Lindy shared a carved image that left me both yihaaw! and seriously?!  Beautiful detail of a textured work.

prior shared a few shots in her beautiful post that talks about parenting teens (but I think it’s more parenting in general) and parents should go there and soak in those words.  Amazing tips on communication!

Aly is looking up in her post and it looks beautiful!

Have a fun and textured Tuesday!

I like comments as much as I like naps. And I LOVE naps.
