Every Tuesday I post a photo of a texture or the use of a texture and share a detail of my part of the world.
I invite you to join in the fun of sharing an image of the textures around you by including a link to this post in your own post (you don’t have to make an exclusive Tuesdays of Texture post!). You can also @ naramilee in twitter or instagram if you want to share an image from either platform.
You can find an image you like during the week if you don’t have one today 🙂

Living in a rural setting exposes you to so many marvelous things – the natural world and the particular texture of small-town life, and the exhilarating experience of open space.

Oh my goodness gracious. What. A. Monday.
I think I worked twenty seven hours yesterday. It was like while I tackle a mountain of tasks, lashing out with all my fast typing super powers, more kept coming up. I called a store, settled some things and ten minutes later I was calling again because something else came up. I kept juggling the same three stores for, I don’t know, six hours maybe. For all I know it could’ve been two days. (Translation: it felt like forever.)
I didn’t got off the phone and the computer until after five PM, which I realise is the normal for some people but generally, those people don’t have to deal with toddler tantrums, laundry and dishes at the same time they speak with accountability representatives.
The Hardcore Country Life sometimes compensates the craziness (sometimes it doesn’t) with a single quiet moment like the one in that picture. I took this on a walk with baby J and I was able to get my knees dirty to get into this shot, change angles and enjoy the preview without a sound around to disturb us.
Everything stood still and quiet. There were no dogs barking, no hooves of horses, no moos of cows. It was just the view in the preview window and a little wind blowing our hair.
I enjoyed the feeling for many hours later.
Please go and pat the back of these cool contributors:
prior shared beautiful words along with her soft texture shot this week.
Lindy shared a variety of textures, and there’s FRESH CORN. I really shouldn’t do this while I’m hungry.
lessywannagohome shared a shot that looks like a painting, you can almost touch that moss!
I’m pretty sure Aly shared the first fashion texture on Tuesday of Texture and it’s gorgeous! Gah with the red dress. And welcome Aly!
De Tout Coeur Limousin shared a few shots and I want them all in my wall, as per usual.
Have a calm and textured Tuesday!
