Tuesdays of Texture | Week 6 of 2015

Every Tuesday I post a photo of a texture or the use of a texture and share a detail of my part of the world.

I invite you to join in the fun of sharing an image of the textures around you by including a link to this post in your own post (you don’t have to make an exclusive Tuesdays of Texture post!).  You can also @ naramilee in twitter or instagram if you want to share an image from either platform.

You can find an image you like during the week if you don’t have one today 🙂

Soft.

Speak softly, love
So no one hears us but the sky.
-Andy Williams, Speak Softly Love
I can’t walk past a feather and not take a picture.  They make me think they are sort of waiting for me before flying away.

You want to go leave some love for the following contributions:

Norm shared a bit of mashed potato snow.  🙂

ladyleemanila shared a few shots, including a sort of prickly situation that I found very interesting.

Lessywannagohome shared some renovation for a building, beautiful details of architecture back there.

Debbie spotted some warm looking mitts in a peculiar spot.

Enjoying Life Wherever we Are shared several beautiful shots from her visit to the dunes.

priorhouse shared a very emotional post that includes some awesome macros of MYRRH nontheless!

Have a happy and textured Tuesday!

I like how you note that these feathers wait for you – ha! and in this shot – I love the contrast – between light and dark (white and brown) – between soft and hard (feather fuzzy and slick wood) – and then harmony with the line sod the feather and lines in the natural mulch. simple,e and oh so beautiful – 🙂 ❤

I like comments as much as I like naps. And I LOVE naps.
