Every Tuesday I post a photo of a texture or the use of a texture and share a detail of my part of the world.
I invite you to join in the fun of sharing an image of the textures around you by including a link to this post in your own post (you don’t have to make an exclusive Tuesdays of Texture post!). You can also @ naramilee in twitter or instagram if you want to share an image from either platform.
You can find an image you like during the week if you don’t have one today 🙂

The ache for home lives in all of us, the safe place where we can go as we are and not be questioned.
Maya Angelou
I shot this before we moved but it called for me today because I spent the day yesterday looking for things that have been lost in a bag or box. Things like an electric cord, shoes, a can opener. Because it always has to be that one thing that at some point is indispensable.
I’m very organised and not being able to find some things in a timely fashion sort of kills me ded.
Those termites have no idea how good they have it.
Last week there was an interesting variety of contributions, please check them out:
ColorPalette shared an experiment on color with a flower shot that also featured beautiful texture.
De Tout Coeur Limousin shared two images, the first one made my jaw hit the table.
beautiful picture and words by Maya Angelou – thank you 🙂

That is one heck of a termite high-rise!
I feel for ya trying to find the missing items. You know you wouldn’t have left it behind; you remember packing it; just WHERE is it?!

It was big, I should’ve taken a pic for size reference *forehead slap*
That’s the EXACT sentence I kept repeating! Thank you 🙂

Thanks a lot for the mention Narami, is this termite nest on ground or trees ? I have not seen any yet ,hence the silly question

I don’t think that’s silly! That one was nested in the roots of a tree. They are everywhere here though, up in trees and in concrete too.

Intriguing texture. It seems abstract but the more I look I can see a figurative quality pop out. Interesting image as always.
