Last Tuesday winner:
Debbie shared this image on a Silent Sunday, but boy it’s an image that sparks conversation 🙂
Some are born weird, some achieve it, others have weirdness thrust upon them.
― Dick Francis, To the Hilt
I did a double take when I saw this weird thing on a trunk. And then I kept looking at it and after a few minutes, I thought it would make a rather pretty abstract ornament. Of some sort. Well, in any case it had a better second impression than a first.
See, sometimes that can happen. Give something a second chance today.
Enjoy!
Every Tuesday I post a photo of a texture or the use of a texture. In hopes of getting to know a bit more about your part of the world, I invite you to join in the fun of sharing an image of the textures around you by including a link to this post in your own Tuesdays of Texture post.
Thanks for picking my textured shot this week. I’m working on this week’s entry! Debbie

Interesting bit of fungus growing on the tree. It certainly gives it more texture!

This is the coolest piece. I love the contrast of the wood behind it; it makes it pop.
Thanks for sharing…:0) Marie

It also looks like something you want to grab, now that you mention how it’s popping 🙂

It took a while to choose, but here I have a distant texture shot. Thought it would make a change from a close up. http://travelwithintent.com/2014/08/08/atomic-textures/
